Corporate Social Responsibility is a management concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. CSR is generally understood as being the way through which a company achieves a balance of economic, environmental and social imperatives, while at the same time addressing the expectations of shareholders and stakeholders.  It is closely linked to sustainability − creating economic, social, and environmental value.

Therefore, as a responsible business, Kilpest India Limited takes pride in being socially inclined and focuses on sustained and effective Corporate Social Responsibility Projects. Their major focuses are:

1. Health 

Good health is cardinal to human well being and enables one to achieve life goals. Ensuring healthy lives and promoting wellbeing for all at all ages is important to building prosperous societies.  Ensuring healthy lives for all requires a strong commitment, but the benefits outweigh the cost. Healthy people are the foundation for healthy economies.

2. EDUCATION 

Education aids the development of an individual's cognitive, psychological and intellectual faculties that ultimately shapes his or her personality. The process of education assists the individual to become the sort of person who can stand on his own feet and make his own decisions.

3. Employment 

The Company's aim is to provide education to the underprivileged children and students by providing merit based scholarships. Assistance is given to such communities by helping them develop technical skills to enhance livelihood/employability. Employment (Skill Development) program focuses on training school drop-outs and unemployed youth in auto trades, non-auto trades and agriculture & allied activities, and also helps with institutional strengthening.

4. COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY

We believe in customizing the implementation of CSR activities as per the need of the society and a call from nearby communities. Company found some basic needs of the society in nearby connecting villages and decided to fulfill it by providing the supply of food and necessary items during the COVID-19 Pandemic to the people in need. We also provided healthcare and hygiene supplies to fight the pandemic. The company also contributes to provide relief to the disaster-stricken communities and regions during the times of floods, cyclones, earthquakes and other such natural calamities.

Decades of Selfless Work Supporting Poor Patients in Bhopal


Sardar Dayal Singh Saluja, on a visit to Hamidia Hospital (Bhopal) in 1994, was so overcome with grief at seeing the plight of poor patients that he took the initiative to provide medicines to poor patients, arranged and paid for tests and also took the time to provide daily meals. This began the journey of Prerna Sewa Trust, Bhopal, a non-profit organization that has been performing selfless acts of service for poor patients and winning hearts of the local community for almost three decades. 

Over the years, Prerna grew in size and diversified its operations. Today, while also providing meals and medicines, Prerna occasionally arranges treatment for poor rural children with congenital heart ailments and escorts them to other places for treatment at no cost. Today, Prerna has set new benchmarks of social service with its heart-warming and selfless service to humanity, transcending barriers of caste, creed, colour and religion.

Today, Prerna Sewa Trust is a selfless organization that has been working form the last 40 years for every day poor patients of Hamidia Hospital in the form of distribution of two meals to 400 people, distribution of medicine, medical apparatuses, clothes, stretchers wheel chairs, Crutches providing desert coolers in every ward to make life more comfortable for the less privileged.

After learning about Prerna, Kilpest India Limited, Bhopal takes pride in being socially inclined and focuses on sustained and effective Corporate Social Responsibility Projects and recommended to provide Medical Aid for the poor and underprivileged, medical equipments such as stretcher, wheel chairs, syringes etc and provide food packets for the poor and underprivileged.    Therefore, the Board earmarked an amount of Rs 7, 50,000 for Prerna Sewa Trust as Company's Contribution towards CSR Commitment for the year which will be paid from time to time upon receipt of fund requirement from their side.
